Joe Sat At The Table Where She Said They'd Meet. He Was Up All Night, Eyes Red And Tired... He Couldn't Stop Thinking Of Her. This Was His First Date Since 5th Grade, But It Wasn't That. He Was Shy And Quiet But Her Presence Made It Seem Differnet. Not Like It Was Gone But Just Different, Like The Way A House Feels When A New Puppy Comes Along Or When Your Child Isn't A Virgin Anymore... EVERYTHING Is Differnet, The Way You Think And See Things From Then On. But She Made That Diference Feel Good. It Was Nice To Entertain Someone Besides His Imediate Family Although He Loved Them. He Wanted A Woman To Hold And Cuddle With At Night. He Was Tired Of Being Alone. He Fiddled With His Guitar Pick Against His Fingernails. His Head Was About To Drop In His Water Bowl But He Knew When She Walked Through That Door His Day Would Become Full Of Energy... If She Walked Through That Door.  |

A brown haired girl walked out of the staff room door inside the counter...She had a beautiful pink dress on an has brown hazel eyes.Her fringe loped covering her right eye.She took a pen and a notepad and slowly walked to the boy,
She let a smile shine bright from ear to ear to him.She pushed her fringe behind her ear and smiled again."Hi!I'm Liz,the owner of Cafe latte.What would you like?"She asked holding her smile"are you waiting for anyone?"She asked confusedly

Liz laughed and smiled,her eyes flickering softly."You can have that free.So,who are you ecpecting?"She asked polietly,not trying to intude personal stuff.Liz got a plastic cup and filled it with water."say please and thank you!"She said in a stern and joking way.She sat on the tall red pink stool opposite the counter.

A blond skinny Girl dressed in her best jeans and plad shirt walking into the cafe. She slightly looked around and saw Joe. She walked up to him "Sorry Im Late" she said innocently. "My dog wouldn't let me out of the house" She laughed as she sta next to Him. She flicked her blonde hair behind her shoulder and smiled sweetly at him.

Joe Smilled At Her Looking At Her On The Corner Of His Eye "It's Fine, I Was A Little Late Too" He Looked Serious Like he Was Telling The Truth But Inside He Was Just Trying To Make Her Feel Better....
A Long Silence "Dog, Ey'" he Said In An Accent "What Breed?" He Asked With His Knuckles Holding Up His Head, Elbows On The Table. "Why Wouldnt He Let You Outtta The House?" He Chuckled Slighly As If The Though Was Funny. "I Can Just Imagine That. Hows The Horse?" He Asked.

Rachel serously at joe.."If I told you the breed you wouldn't beleive me.." Then she smiled at him."Hes real protective..and hes knows when I got a date..and he don't like it much.." She laughed.."the horses are fine..there getting uesed to the place....Well Whiskey ain't..Hes already been there before. But their doin fine" She had a weastern accent even though she grew up with city folk.

Joe Smiled Again, He Was Full Of Smiles Today. He Put Down His head Then looked At Her "Id Beleive You" He Sai Truthfuly Looking Her In The Eye. Her Leg Was Touching Hers Since She Sat Beside Him. He Liked It And Didnt Back Away, To Her He Was Warm, Against Her Leg.

Rachel Smiled and moved closer to him touching him more. He was warm.And it felt good. "Hes a Thylacine" She answered. Her blue eyes starred into his. It was almost like they were trading thoughts.

"I'll Have To See Him Sometime." In His Mind She was The Only Girl He Could See, Out Of All The Girls In The Caffe Getting Their Coffe She Was The Only. He Relized he Was Staring And Looked Down Fidling Agian With His Guitar Pick... He Was Shy And She Could Tell.

He Followed Her Hand, Grabbing His Coat Off The Bottom Of The Stool "Where Are We Off To?" He Asked Still Holding Her Hands. His Hands Were Very Soft. They Went Outside And He Looked Agaid To Where They Were Going.

Rachel walked out side and stopped.She now held his hand as if they were going out. Fingures weaved into each others fingures. She had pink nail polish and her hand were very soft also. Rachel began to walk agian. She walke down the Street, still holding his hand."You'll see."
