Amelija-Jayne. Weird name, huh? Yeah, That's what I always thought. And when I say always, I mean always.
Amelija stared straight ahead, trying to keep focus of her thoughts. Usually, she would be driving, as she got her p's on her 17th. But it was too long a journey for her, she knew. So she paid someone, if only to get away from her old town ASAP. About 3/4 of the way here, she had a call from her hometown ambo, Penny. Her grandma had had an accident, slipping on the kitchen floor, and banging her old head on the tiled ground. She then suffered from a mild heart-attack. Penny had told AJ that grandma Bea was in a stable condition, in the IC unit at the next town's hospital, but was under strict care.
AJ shook her head slightly, ridding these memories from her mind. It was always when she was half-asleep she started thinking about what had happened, instead of what was happening. Hers and Pixii's arrival at the new stable. She had read about the facilities and pasturesof this dream place. And now, it was real. It was her reality. Her new life. Her living dream. And, pixii's too, of course!
Finally, the Stables, so strange and new to her, was viewable from the passenger-seat window. It looked so.... perfect, that AJ could barely contain her excitement and gasped in anticipation. Having seen Random Park Stables, the 17 year old knew, without a doubt, that both she and Pixii would definately benefit from this gorgeous place.
Ages, it seemed, passed before the horse truck finally slowed down to a screeching halt, and a slight rattling sound could be heard echoeing from the float part of the live-in truck. Opening the heavy door, AJ jumped down straight away, temporarily forgetting about the driver. She ran straight around to the back of the gleaming white doors that opened for the horses, and started the quick process of unlocking the ramp door. Of course, the driver, who was female and had introduced herself a s Piper, came around to help lower the ramp, and AJ thanked her over and over again. Piper just smiled.
Very soon, AJ had Pixii out, lightly rugged and booted, whickering to the other horses visable from the side of the truck where she was tied up. Opening the storage area of the inside of the truck, and getting out a bag of the pre-made food that only needed to be wet down, Amelija-Jayne grabbed the purple feed bucket, and headed straight for the nearest tap. After she gave Pixii her food of lucerne, wheaten and pellets, AJ walked around to the living area of the truck, watching Piper pack up the last little tit-bits of hers....
As it was still light, she walked around to the front of the barn, hoping to see someone there, to tell her where she should go. Her small backpack clinging to her shoulder, she stopped at the wide doors of the huge barn, staring in little-disguised wonder. How she could get used to a plce this big, compared to her little hay-shed at home, she would never know. Breaking out of her minor stupor, AJ called out loudly, her light voice floating into the broad, spacious stalls of the horses, many of them not yet vacated, she noticed.
Hello, anyone here?
Amelija glanced nervously around again, waiting for someone to answer her. She desperately wanted to get Pixii settled in, but still needed to sort out her boarding.... most likely she would be stabled here, hopefully. She dropped her backpack to the ground inside the entrance to the stables, seating herself next to it. Absently, she strated fiddling wih her seven-rings necklace, the only thing she had to rmember her mum by. A deep sigh escaped AJ then, she was getting slightly tired, but knew she had to wait for someone. Resting her slender back against the frame more comfortably, and still waiting patiently, AJ opened and closed her pack, the velcro crackling as it was ripped open each time, and silently clung together when closed. She took another deep breath, as she wanted to get Pixii in her new home as soon as she could.
Helloooo?
Status ;; finished

Naomi paced around the arena, watching one of her students trying to jump Bekema. One of their easiest school horses to ride, the bay Arabian went cantering gently to the small jump. She watched the young girl hauling on his mouth, Naomi gritted her teeth. Yelling out in an angered tone, she sighed. “What are you trying to do!?! From where I’m standing it looks a lot like you’re trying to murder him! I swear if you yank on his head one more time over that jump your not going to be riding him anymore. You almost took his head clean off his shoulders!”Now those words might seem a little harsh, but Naomi is a very, very strict coach. And if you’d seen someone hauling on an extremely well trained pony’s mouth you’d be yelling your head off too. Naomi walked over to where the girl was sitting on the puffing gelding. She stretched out her hand to pat his sweating foamy neck. Letting out another long breath she tried to calm herself. “Try once more. And please don’t rip off his head, just go with him. Remember he’s not the boss, you’re not the boss, you’re a team.” Naomi turned her back on the girl and walked to the corner of the sand arena. The young teenager riding Bekema set him off into his nice flighty canter. Heading towards the brown and white oxer she cleared it with ease, not even touching his mouth. A broad smile crossed both Naomi’s and the brunettes face. Continuing on with the lesson Naomi gave her the next instruction. “Do the jump once more, I bet you fluked it.”Naomi was a joker, she liked to push her students and if you were extremely sensitive you probably wouldn’t go so well with her. Naomi’s attention got drawn away by the sound of tires on the gravel drive way. Craning her head to see who was coming, she saw a young girl probably in her late teens jump out of the passenger seat. Naomi was a little suspicious as to who would be coming, but she had no more time to wonder. As her mind got set back on watching her student jumping. Again the brunette and Bekema cleared the oxer perfectly, well almost perfectly. Naomi gave the student yet more instructions. “Bring him back to a walk and come up here, you did well but at the start it was horrendous. But you got it in the end, but with the last two jumps you were a little bit ahead pf him, try and stay in the centre of him. And make sure you come straight to the fence. Cool him down and you can take him inside, untack him, put him in a stall and give him two biscuits of hay. Thanks Sam.”Naomi left the arena, turning her head away from Sam walking Bekema on a loose rein. Naomi saw the truck with the back ramp open and a gorgeous horse standing there eating a feed mix. The blonde paused for a moment, speaking to the pony. “Hey gorgeous where did your owner go?” Of course Naomi didn’t know whether the other girl was this horses owner, it was only a guess. Naomi took a few steps away from the horse heading towards the large barn. Hearing a hello echoing down the empty passageway she entered. It appeared that the young girl was looking for her. Hoping not to startle her Naomi spoke in a calm tone. “Hey I’m Naomi, owner of this horse agistment slash riding school. Most people call me Nay though, is there anything I can help you with?”

“Hey I’m Naomi, owner of this horse agistment slash riding school. Most people call me Nay though, is there anything I can help you with?”
Amelija-Jayne jumped at the low, calm voice. She had, obviously, heard someone yelling in a different part of the large riding school, but didn't know whether to move or stay where she was. She had stayed. Slowly, though the sudden announcement had surprised her only slightly, a small smile tentatively reached the young girls' naturally rose-red lips. Her long, sleek ebon hair, tied in a simple pony-tail, swished around her slender neck as she turned her head towards the older person who called herself Naomi.
AJ stood up, absently brushing away the stray dust and dirt that had found accomodation on her loose hipster-style trackies. She reached down to pick up her backpack, hitching it up onto her shoulder.
Hi, Naomi, right? I'm Amelija-Jayne, though for your tongue's sake, call me AJ. I just arrived here, in the truck over yonder, with my horse, Pixii. I was told I could be stablehand and Horse exerciser here, so I know i'm all sorted, but I need to know where abouts I could agist Pixii. I mean, if it's all right with you, i'd love to keep her here, easier to get and ride her if we're closer to each other. If there's no space, or anything, than could you reccomend somewhere close where I could keep her? I'd really appreciate it, and I need to make sure she's settled before I can even think of where i'm going.
AJ breathed deeply, she had a tendancy to speak without breathing, and that often left her breathless. She smiled again, her pale azure eyes shining in anticipation of what Naomi, and the entire Stable, would hold for her and her chestnut Jumper, Pixii. Naomi looked just what AJ imagined her to. She looked strict, but kind, and encouraging. Absently, Amelija brought her ethnic-tanned hand up to her face, rubbing gently at the small, barely visable scar. Often, that was interpreted as a nervous habit, and AJ checked it abruptly, holding the same hand out in the formal greeting of a handshake, waiting for Naomi to answer her, and hopefully, if she was what she looked like, shake her hand so that AJ didn't look like a complete dolt. Her mouth still curved in that rosey smile, AJ contented herself with the hope that Naomi would, of course, let her keep Pixii here, at these stables, so that the bond between them would still be whole and intact, through constant knowledge that each would be with the other whenever they needed one another.

Naomi gave the girl a warm smile, musing over her beauty. Her rose red lips and black sleek hair, why she was almost like Snow White. Naomi suppressed a laugh, listening contently to the girls words. Amelija-Jayne, what a great name! Naomi’s eyes widened so this was her new exerciser, why she’d almost forgotten! Naomi’s flesh pink lips peeled up slightly, showing her toothbrush commercial smile. “Well we have about 10stalls and 40 acres! Very little horses boarding here at the moment, we are trying to bring in more though. Our newest riding teacher just arrived a few days before you. There’ll be plenty of room for Pixii and we have a humongous bungalow that is separated into three compartments. I’m trying to get this place more organised, I’ve just been so busy with my newest horse Hunter.” There was a slight pause as Naomi’s brow knitted as she pondered over who was staying in the bungalow. Quickly working out that she had one open spot in the house she replied. “Hmm, it’s good to meet you. Sorry I’m all over the place at the moment. Umm we have one spot left open in our bungalow if you would like it live in there with Chris and Gretchen our riding instructors they are truly kind. And if you already where going to live in there well great! If you’d like any help with your horse, Pixii, she is gorgeous! Oh yes, if you’d like any help just ask. We should probably tend to her first then I can go and show you your room, I should give you a list of all our horses. And when they need training and what not… so let’s get your horse then shall we.” Naomi rolled her mocha visionaries, great get all jumbled up when you’re trying to explain something, Naomi’s first impressions always did go well. Ahaha!

Amelija
Amelija listened quietly, watching as Naomi did the usual once-over of the new person. It was expected, so AJ endured it. She did her own 'check' on Naomi, or 'Nay' as she seemed to prefer. Deciding that Nay would be of a great help to Amelija, especially in the first hectic week of this new place, she kept her eyes on Naomi, noting the dazzling smile. picture perfect she thought, complimenting Naomi mentally, but showing nothing physically.
Perfect! I'd love the place in the bungalow! It sounds just wonderful. Thank-you, and i'm so completely glad that Pixii is practically right outside my window! It makes everything so much.... more real if Pixii was there every day to wake me up to this gorgeous place! Gosh, I can't even express how happy I am at the moment! I'm just ecstatic!
rambling on again who cares?!? Amelija smiled again at Naomi, the warmth all too visable. She almost tripped herself up racing to Pixii, though she slowed when she was closer to her horse. Safety first, AJ. A first impression's the one that matters. Slowly reaching her hand out to her horse, stroking her lovingly on her neck and twiddling with her ears that seemed almost too big for her head, AJ whispered excitedly to her, calming her voice to reassure her horse who had started lightly prancing. Noticing the by-now empty bucket, AJ picked it up and took it to the entrance of the barn, where Naomi had waited for her. Smile still in place, she put the bucket down and raced around, almost bumpin into her truck driver, Piper.
[]bHey, Piper! Thank-you sooo much. It really means alot to me that you took your time delivering me and my horse. I'll just get the rest of my things, and you'll be off, then. Gosh. That sounded kinda mean.... sorry. I didn't mean it like that....
Piper, not really the talkative type, just smiled and waved, clearing the remark with that simple gesture. AJ smiled again, running into the cabin of the truck, and stuffing everything she owned into her backpack, which was practically empty, anyway. Taking care that she had gotten everything, she climbed back out of the cabin, grabbing her wallet from the chain that hung all her basics, like her wallet and phone and keys. Thakning Piper over and oer again, and eventually hugging her as tight as she could, Amelija wished good luck to the kind, caring women, and hoped the best for her. Chucking all her possessions onto the ground near the feed buckets, she walked back over to Pixii, gently soothing the chestnut beaut with her words and gestures, untieing the mare calming and swiftly, leading her away from the truck. The engine started, and AJ saddened. She had grown quite accustomed to the little cabin, the purr of the huge engine, but most importantly, to the gentle woman who had driven the huge thing here, just for her and her horse. Smiling, and waving non-stop, tears sprung to the 17 year old's eyes, surprising herself. She was almost always in control of her emotions. But this was a special occasion. Of course. Now, she turned back to the present, looking at Naomi, standing patiently, and she wiped away loose tears. A quick glance inside, at the stalls, then she turned again to Nay. So, which one's Pixii's?
