{Pictures of the one they will capture}
Black legs with white painted around the hooves leap over a fallen logs that lay in a row, there were at least four of them, grunting as he left the ground and snorting when he returned. On his back Wiley(it is pronounced why lee) a mid hight boy with shaggy brown hair lifting into the wind. His hands gripped tightly on the reins and he tapped his heal at each log and leaned far forward with his arms nearly touching Rebels ears.
Rebels ears were glued back tightly against his skull, he always looked like a grump when in action, and always looked like a dangerous horse to get on because he approached all the jumps or obstacles with incredible speed and power.
Soon as they leap over the final log a long, harsh whinnying was emitted into the air. Not from Rebel, but as Wiley turned his head to look at the source of this whinny was a beautiful brumby stallion, he and a gray brumby were fighting.
It look allot like leads fighting her land or herd. The chestnut had blood running down his neck and down his legs, the gray was injured allot to, it looked like they had been fighting for a long time, and a huge herd was gathered on the other side of the meadow watching.
Wiley whistled, grabbing both stallion's attension. The gray when fled away and the chestnut raced after him, bitting his coup.
Wiley then kicked Rebel's stomach continuously, like in barrel racing and kissed. Rebel took off like a racehorse coming out from the gate with great speed. His ears continued to glue back and nostrils flared, he snorted with each stride and his head raced back and forth like he was racing for his life.
Wiley slide down his roping rope from his shoulder as he neared the two brumbies, now running next to the chestnut, he could see his muscles rippling, he looked allot like a thoroughbred, but more stalky.
Wiley moved Rebel closer to the chestnut and tossed the rope around his neck. The stallion continued to gallop so Wiley pulled Rebel to a very quick halt and made him walk backward until the brumby had no more rope left and was pulled back against his force. He reared and pawed at the sky toward the gray brumby as he ran off with both herds.
"Easy boy" cooed Wiley holding the rope with a tight grip in his glove. "I'll call you Yarraman" He said, he needed a name, instead of calling him the chestnut brumby all the time.
Yarraman crashed back to the ground, and swiftly turned on his hind quarters toward Wiley and Rebel, Wiley smirked"Hey Yarraman" He spoke and pat Rebel"Good job boy" He praised and reached into his pocket while Yarraman was still confused and pulled out a treat he reached over and gave it to Rebel.
Yarraman snorted and pawed at the ground and Wiley shook his head slowly, he pulled out yet another treat and held it out toward the brumby. Yarraman squealed and half reared, he tossed his head in curcular motions, thinking he could scare Wiley and his stud. But the duo did not budge, Wiley actually laughed a little. He put the treat back into his pocket and put Rebel into a trot toward the tree's.
Yarraman reared and soon walked behind them, his head high and pausing with each step. Soon Wiley tied the rope around a tree and lead Rebel to another tree and just sat on a log staring at the brumby.
Yarraman reared and pawed at the rope several times, the blood on his neck and back now drying up and making him ichy. He looked into the tree's to see his colt, a young palomino brumby running toward where the herd had left. Yarraman tossed his large head an d whinnied to his son, a warning to get away. The young palomino looked to his father and paused for a second, then he noticed Wiley sitting on a log and galloped away.
Wiley just smirked, so he had a son? He would probably take over the herd for his father and go find it.
Rebel snorted and sniffed Yarraman then grunted, Yarraman lashed out at Rebel and Rebel just quickly back stepped with a whinny.
Wiley laughed at his foolish stallion. then went to thought Yarraman would make a great jumper, and even better, he had very strong muscles and legs, he could be a great cross country stud, and he could make some more babies.
Wiley pulled out another treat at least 2 hours later when Yarraman was finally calming and played around with it, Yarraman watching him from where he was tied"You want this boy? Your going to have to come get it" He said and lay it on the ground near his boot.
Rebel loward his head to grab it but Wiley picked it up again and then lead Rebel behind him and tied him up. Then he returned to the log and put it next to his boot.
Yarraman grunted and perked his ears, he watched the treat and Wiley carefully, he wanted the treat, but Wiley was very close.
Yarraman stood tall, he looked like a king looking over his pesents. If he had not been so badly hurt Wiley probably had never gotten anywhere near him, and from what Wiley had seem Yarraman and that gray brumby were no strangers, they looked as if they had been battling for a very long time, and that fight was just a small argument.
Yarraman now belonged to Wiley, he was Wiley's problem now, and it seemed as if Wiley knew what he was doing. And that he did, he had been training and breaking in wild horses since he was 10. His father used to own a small ranch near a large herd of mustangs and brumbies, he would round some up at least once every month and would break them in and use them as cattle horses or sell them. Wiley was always helping his father with these horses.
{here is a video if Yarraman, his colt and the gray stallion are in it...Yes it is from the movie The Silver Brumby, but i love this stallion,
and when i saw this board i got exited and wanted to capture Yarraman!
